The Persians shooting arrows from their short horn/sinew bows shoot at a very fast rate of fire. Therefore this trophy of an ancient Persian Arrow mounted in a case made from Black Walnut is the trophy to be won by the archer who scores the highest score in shooting for 30 seconds at a target set some short distance from the shooting line. The trophy is to be held for a year, then returned to be shot for the following year.
In addition to receiving the Persian Arrow the winning Archer will also be given a keepsake of the Persian blazer badge and a medal.
